Over the past year, I am learning day by day not to be ashamed of my anxiety, I think a huge part of why is because whenever I share with you all on my Instagram or on here- so many of you relate. It’s crazy how there is so much power in just saying something out loud, or feeling like you aren’t alone in your pain. There is power in numbers, and you all make me feel like I have an army.
The other day, I just was having “one of those days” you know the crippling ones- they cause you to cancel plans, go to a dark place that Jesus never intended for us. I texted my Nana, and simply asked for some verses to read that could calm my mind…
There are so many answers in His word, so many reasons to find joy, and so many parts that give your body and mind PEACE.
Basically, these little suckers and also the songs in this playlist have been SAVING me…well, that AND
all of you- thanks for always being ready to go to war with me. We aren’t alone in our anxieties, darlings- don’t forget it!
Bible Verses For Anxiety
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 5:7
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
When Anxiety Was great within me your consolation brought me joy.
The Lord will fight for you, you need only be still
Let the morning bring word of your unfailing love- for I have put my trust in you
Whenever you feel unloved, unimportant, or insecure remember to whom you belong.
With his love, he will calm all your fears.
You are my plan of quiet retreat I wait for your word to renew me
