Darlings, my expectations were BLOWN AWAY when I got a (much anticipated) opportunity to check out Denver Central Market. After seeing the foodie spots, great conversations starters, and even perfect take home options as well- I knew this was going to be Zack and mines favorite new DATE NIGHT spot. Since moving to Denver I have had this obsessions with all things that represent this city from the wide range of people here to the Broncos to heck…good beer. So whether you live in the Denver area or you are planning on visiting, Denver Central Market is a MUST.
Just think of Denver Central Market as the most gorgeous, magical abounded brick warehouse you have ever seen. There is a full car, coffee shop, bakery, meat shop, chocolate shop, salad and produce stand, pizza parlor, and a cheese pairing station…like what else do you really need- WAIT I almost forgot AND ice cream…girl you ain’t going nowhere once you walk into this little gem!
If you doing a TAKE HOME Date, then your run down might look a little like this:
Grab a glass of wine from the bar, sit and catchup- of course discussing the important stuff like what you feel like eating 😉 Stop by the cheese bar for your favorite brie or manchengo, then the bakery for the perfect baguette to match. I love grabbing a piece of fresh salmon for me and a ribeye for Zack then finishing it off with some specialty chocolates to go…because DESSERT IS MANDATORY.
And if you are thinking of staying at Denver Central Market I highlight recommend doing a combo share of a giant salad (they make the BEST salads all right there in front of you so you can pick everything that’s in it!) then of course some PIZZA- pizza is never a bad idea especially at Denver Central Market! And then ice cream and espresso to end that good conversation on a SWEET NOTE.
One of my favorite things about being married is getting to still DATE Zack, and Denver Central Market just added a new regular in our routine and if you haven’t gone yet, put it on the calendar your date and your stomach will TOTALLY thank you!
