Let’s just start this whole conversation with a little reminder…
You Are Such A GEM
okay ANYWAYS, we haven’t done a DIY in foreeeeevvvvvverrrrrrr and as silly as it sounds we were totally itching to make a stop at Hobby Lobby and get CRAFTY. So this post is a little glitzy, very affordable, perfect for spring & summer trends, AND a whole lot of FUN. Inspired by Design Love Fest gals and collaborating with my girl, Alena of ModaPrints.
I think the chunkier heel- in this case, the BETTER. For starters they are comfy & easier to walk in and secondly there are more spots for your gems!
We grabbed an assortment of different colors and shapes so we can play around with different decorating from Hobby Lobby! I think adding something fun like spikes or flowers is a great addition too!!
Hot Glue Gun
Smiles & probs coffee and good jams…
Shop the shoezies we used from good ol’ Target right BELOW- they are SUCH a good deal!!
We are going to let you all in on a little secret…there really are NO directions, haha. Like seriously just gem the heck out of your cute shoes however you want- seriously you can’t mess these up and the less perfect THE BETTER. So plug in your hot glue gun and add a little dot to the back of each gem and press down for a few seconds!!

Don’t forget if you purchase the adorable blue top or the tan wristlet from Humble Chic NY you can use the code LIKEIT for 15% off!! Get it girl!!
I loved the effortless and subtle cream platform because the bling doesn’t make them too much!! These can be styled with a fun printed dress or just some skinnies and a cropped sweater! They are the perfect accessory for adding a little something to your outfits all spring and summer long! Not to mention they make EVERYTHING way more fun.
The more I think about it the more I realize that these are the perfect MONDAY SHOES, I mean how can you be in a bad mood while wearing sparkly heels?! especially ones you made by yourself! What a GIRLBOSS you are 😉
I will be posting on Instagram more ways to style these bad boys, but please email or comment with ANY questions you have and tag us if you decide to create your own! Now, let’s go crush this week!
