Today, we dedicate Monday to being about DOING YOUR BODY GOOD.So I can NOT and will NOT deny that I love a glass of wine or two (okay three) and if there are sour gummy worms around me- I will probably eat them all…But this does come at a price- Darlings, we all know that a body that looks good and FEELS good, takes works and a little tender loving care.

Hence, why this week I decided to mix it up a bit- I decided to replace ONE MEAL A DAY with a nutrient packed smoothie!

When allowing your body a break from processed foods, and artificial flavors you allow your body to get what it NEEDS- and when that happens your body gives you what you WANTstuff like glowing skin, major steps towards weight loss, and more energy. Here is my first recipe for today, it makes enough for 2 smoothies- so you can save some and use it for Tuesday! I will post two ore recipes this week on Facebook- one on Wednesday and one on Friday- please ENJOY and tell me what you are thinking (and feeling)!

 A more GLOWING you.

Ingredients:

1 large orange (peeled & cut into chunks)
1 small banana
6 large strawberries
2 cups spinach
1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (I use Fage)
1 cup ice

 Directions:

Blend All the ingredients together and drink right away! You body needs this ASAP! And Freeze the leftovers for tomorrow in an air-tight container.

Darlings, you probably are WAY MORE disciplined than me but just think of it this way…Sunday is the SUPERbowl- so it will be a day full of too much fun, too much alcoholic beverages, and too much potato chips and dip so do your body good and take this smoothie challenge with us!
